Matt and Mark had envisioned starting a business together long before founding Hancock Brothers in 2016. Since then, we have continuously expanded our services, products, and processes to create meaningful value for our team, clients, and trade partners.
Hancock Brothers is based out of Jarrettsville, MD and services Harford County and surrounding areas. Our main focus is on interior remodeling for residential and commercial customers.
When you work with us, you can expect a friendly partnership and a stress-free experience as your vision comes to life. While working on your project, we take care to protect it and maintain a clean, organized environment, while also ensuring clear communication throughout the process.

Mark Hancock, Partner
From soaring heights to solid ground, Mark’s journey is nothing short of inspiring. After high school, he served as a helicopter crew chief in the army, completing multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. His expertise then propelled him into roles with Rolls Royce and Bell Helicopter, where he supported army operations and later moved to Croatia to train the Croatian Air Force.
Deciding to plant roots after years of travel, Mark found love in Croatia, and together they travel frequently to reconnect with their second home. A master of many trades, Mark has a passion for off-roading and building jeeps, teaching himself skills like welding and fabrication. He also has a soft spot for old houses, reveling in the challenge of restoring them to their former glory.
Whether it’s revamping a classic jeep or refurbishing a vintage home, Mark embodies the spirit of transformation and excellence. Join us in celebrating Mark, a true asset to our team whose diverse talents and adventurous spirit enrich our community!

From the sandy shores to the heart of construction, meet Matt Hancock, a seasoned pro in the industry with a fascinating journey spanning nearly three decades. Starting his career at the age of 14, Matt dove into the world of property maintenance, nurturing his passion and skill set through various ventures – from commercial flooring to flipping homes and managing communities. In 2019, he embarked on a commercial construction endeavor, only to later join forces with Mark, bringing his vast experience and vision to Hancock Brothers. Together, they share a passion for transforming spaces, crafting beauty, and delivering joy to every customer.
Beyond the build sites, Matt is a devoted husband and father to two girls, leading a vibrant life surrounded by a menagerie of pets and farm animals – from dogs to cows, pigs, rabbits, and a flock of 100 chickens. Their life is a blend of adventure and simplicity, with camping trips in their cherished camper and the joys of farm living marking their days.
With a spirit for exploration, the Hancock family has embraced the great outdoors, turning their camping hobbies into cherished memories and a lifestyle of adventure. Their journey from living in a camper while searching for the perfect piece of land to establishing a thriving farm is a testament to their love for nature and the simpler things in life.
